Weekly Astro-Cosmic Reset
The astrology of this week is about letting go of the old and preparing for the new. Mercury is at the midpoint of his retrograde phase, and we are moving to the second Eclipse on the 29th, with Mercury and Venus retrograding back into Pisces around the Eclipse. Neptune leaves its ruling sign of Pisces and ingresses into Aries by next Sunday. Prolific endings and beginnings sandwich our current reality. Hold your center!
All of this week's aspects are literally playing out at the cusp of Pisces and Aries. The last sign of the zodiac is the release, and the first sign of the zodiac is the initiation. Neptune dissolves the material world's misplaced attention and lures us into the realm of inspiration, set on stirring the inner muse. The last time Neptune transited Aries was 1861-1874, so clearly this is marking a time of monumental shift as the Pisces ruler moves into the sign of Self. With Mercury and Venus, switching signs and entering Pisces as Neptune moves into Aries, there is a deeper understanding of our innate spiritual nature and ability to be guided by our senses that will need to be set into motion. Venus and Mercury will both conjunct nebulous Neptune in their crossover point, a divine time of personal inspiration. Tune in!
Saturday's New Moon, partial Solar Eclipse in Aries marks a new lunar cycle. A time when the Sun and Moon become congruent at 9° of the Cardinal fire sign. Consequently, Mercury and Venus had their conjunction within a minute of this degree back on March 11th. What personal themes regarding our perceived desires from that time are being set into motion now.?
Both of our luminaries will be in a strong, semi-square to Uranus during the Eclipse. A minor aspect usually representing a subtle tension that must be reconciled. However, Uranus is radical and revolutionary, so it may not be as difficult to finally follow our own path. We may find a little more ease in embracing our authentic individuality. We can become open-minded to new behaviors and expressions that propel us out of our comfort zones and liberate our uniqueness. "I need a new attitude!" With the influence of the Aquarius ruler, Uranus, unexpected events that serve to free us can feel chaotic in the moment. There is a much larger picture of recalibration at play.
Neptune enters Aries the day after the Eclipse and will remain there through 2039, with a short retrograde back into Pisces this year. Neptune is the ruler of Pisces, the 12th house realm of mysticism, dreams, spirituality, compassion, and divine inspiration. What is our Spiritual identity? Our true creative essence? It is integral that we move beyond fear and escapism tendencies that self-delude our purpose as we set intentions for our new journey. By strengthening our connection to Source energy and solidifying our discernment, we can use this transit as a time to awaken new paths, projects, and creative expressions that support our personal goals. Sunday 30th- Neptune enters Aries until 10/22-will retrograde back into Pisces and then re-enter Aries on 1/26/26 for the long term. (March 2039)
