Once in a lifetime transit!

Mars and Uranus will conjunct Fixed Star Algol in Taurus on July 15th. This rare (like once in a lifetime) planetary transit creates a powerful triple conjunction in the fixed Earth sign of Taurus, promising major events that prompt unexpected pivots.

When the God of War (which rules our ego identity) collides with the giant Sky God of lightning in a grounded Earth sign, we can absofukinlutely expect upheaval, and it could happen in a flash! On a global scale, sudden catastrophic Earth events could shake the security of our sustainable living resources. On a personal level, I can empirically attest to the fact that anything we are shaken loose from, we need to be! Remember, Uranus sees the future (the ruler of Aquarius) and crisis always serves to create community.

Algol is associated with alcohol, evil, and beheading from a sensationalized astrology perspective. From my perspective having been born with my Sun conjunct Algol, it also represents the power to overcome torment brought on by the deeds of another (study the mythology of Medusa. Algol is the eclipsing binary star in the center of Medusa's head in the Perseus constellation). There is also the ability to rise above escapism tendencies and embrace your true magic (I will be 18 years sober this month). And most importantly, the fact that it is a binary star representing duality; a deep dive into the shadow and light discovering the magic of fixed star placements, evoking your own power, redefining beauty, and potentially unleashing the beast so as not to lose your head! (literally and/or figuratively)

I highly recommend operating in the highest vibration of heart centered creativity under the influence of these tempestuous transits. Right use of power is of the essence. Having said that, there is no need to be afraid with this explosive Astro; Liberation is nigh!
