Lunar Eclipse/Pisces Full Moon: A sneak peek at the supernatural possibilities-09/17/24
Updated: Sep 14
The first eclipse of the second Eclipse Season of the calendar year occurs on the 17th at 25° of Pisces. This Super Full Moon partial Lunar Eclipse is conjunct Neptune retrograde at 28°, the ruler of this dreamy lunation. Consider this eclipse a precursor of what is to come. As a foreshadowing of the energies that we will all be immersed in when the Nodal shift occurs in January. The current transiting North Node will leave Aries and ingress into Pisces, as the transiting South Node leaves Libra and enters Virgo. For the next 18 months from that point on the focus will be on the axis of fact and faith. Cognitive awareness vs, intuitive knowing. Pisces rules the 12th and final house of the zodiac wheel. With its ruler Neptune at the karmic degree of completion, (29°) the anaretic degree, this is indeed the ending of an old dream. Something is complete.
Saturn, Lord of Karma and Father of Time is also retrograde in Pisces hanging in the wings. This is an echoing theme of finality. Even though we are having an out-of-sign Eclipse, meaning it is not occurring in the signs that the lunar nodes are transiting and that it is not conjunct with the North or South node, its magnitude will be lessened in terms of karmic clearing, yet the subtle influence is palpable. With Saturn retrograding nearby at 15° Pisces, and the North Node at 6° Aries, both looming slightly outer reach in true Pisces fashion, there is a background energy emanating a message of letting go. And to creatively come alive in a more inspired way.
Eclipses are fated occurrences where the Universe shows up on our behalf and does what we cannot do for ourselves. Perhaps what will be removed, eclipsed away, is the old timeline we are reluctant to release. Over the next 5 to 6 months this could be done on our behalf. As we move through this Eclipse, preparing for the Equinox and an elemental season shift, a miraculous opening occurs which allows a new vision to enter. We will spend the upcoming 18 months (starting January) being encouraged by the astral transits to rekindle our faith, to restore our belief in magic and miracles, to seek a path that is illuminated by what dream Divinely inspires us. All contingent on our ability to release what is done. We do not have to attach any judgment to our former dream, illusion, fantasy, or means to escape, we simply have to surrender to the Spiritual workings at play.
There will be a very fortifying Grand Earth trine in effect during this Lunar Eclipse, which helps to pull the illusory Pisces possibilities back into a visceral experience. The powerful players in this Holy Trinity are Pluto retrograde at 29° Capricorn, Uranus retrograde at 27° Taurus, and the Sun at 25° of Virgo. What do You have at, or near these degrees? In what houses? The ability to let something die so that something radical and revolutionary can be born or restored is at play, as well as a Stellar plan to implement it. With an exalted Mercury transiting through Virgo with the Sun, if we can dream it, we can craft it. The additional significant aspects of influence with this Full Moon Lunar Eclipse are as follows.:
Supportive-
Moon/Neptune in Pisces Sextile Uranus in Taurus
Sun in Virgo Earth trine to Uranus in Taurus
Moon/Neptune in Pisces sextile Pluto in Capricorn (at 29°, the karmic degree of completion)
Sun in Virgo trine to Pluto in Capricorn
Grand Earth Trine – Sun in Virgo, trine Uranus in Taurus, trine Pluto in Capricorn
Challenging-
Moon/Neptune in Pisces loosely square to Jupiter retrograde at 20° degrees in Gemini
(Don't believe or receive everything you hear)
