6. MERCURY- August 23-September 15 (Virgo)
7. URANUS- August 28-January 27
The retrograde season is honestly a time to be revered. A pause for the cause provided by the Universe allows us to reflect on the past energies of these planets in their placements and reassess the work still required. It is not however a time to initiate new projects, financial endeavors, or relationships unless you want to redo them in some way later. The retrograde season IS an excellent time to deep dive into any unresolved issues, course correct where necessary, and complete what we have already been applying our energy to so far this year. One of the most important and rare transits of 2023 is the Venus retrograde phase in the Fire signs of Leo. We are reviewing matters of the heart, in order to effectively move forward in all other areas with integrity and authenticity. Neptune in Pisces is requiring us to determine if our visions are viable. Saturn, also in Pisces, is revealing the tasks required to master and secure our long-term dreams. Pluto is dissolving the past structures and systems that will not support our future goals. Chiron is echoing the Venus themes of self-acceptance, healing, and personal worth. Mercury in its sign of exaltation will certainly provide a detailed plan to get the jobs done in the most effective way, in order to be of the highest service to ourselves and others moving forward. (just don't dissect the dream away!) Uranus will assess if we have radically realigned with our personal values regarding abundance (especially in relation to romance and monetary resources), as well as awaken us to the big-picture view of these themes. It behooves us to remain open-minded to doing it ALL differently. The biggest question regarding the archetypal energies of these retrograde planets is: What Have You Learned?
Look to the houses in your own chart that these planets will traverse during their retrograde phases in order to pinpoint how and where to apply the lessons.
Key: Jupiter also stations retrograde in Taurus at the beginning of next month. (9/4-12/3)
It's definitely time to pause and review, for sure! Thanks for articulating the themes and the work ahead.
