Elemental Shift

The Sun now at home in its ruling sign of Leo is invigorating the Summer scene and kicking off a new astrological season in the element of (Fixed) Fire. This palpable shift starts to burn off the watery emotions of an intense Cancer season. Just like that, the feelings evaporate and as we access our fortitude of presence, being and doing becomes the new vibe. Leo Season is ruling the cosmic airwaves from July 22nd to August 22nd. Mars, our planet of passion, purpose, and pursuit, moved into the (Mutable) Air sign of Gemini on July 20th and will echo the possibilities of physical form and serve to motivate our cerebral faculties until September 4th. "Move a muscle, change a thought" This can be a fun-filled exploration through the lens of others, or a dogmatic determination to get one's opinion across as fact. As we navigate the spectrum of possibilities, we can evoke our inner authority and choose the frequency in which we operate. Fire and Air influences can fan the flames.

There is a spiciness to the mix with Venus also transiting through the sovereign sign of Leo. The difference this go-round is that Lady Luck will not retrograde in 2024, so it all steam ahead on the romance stage. Venus is large and in charge, ready to tango. However, be advised that Mercury, the ruler of Gemini, where Venus's cosmic lover Mars is moving through, is in pre-shadow and preparing to retrograde August 4th-28th. So even though Jupiter and Mars in Gemini are ushering in many new connections, the Mercury retrograde could prompt some serious Jedi mind tricks from former forlorn loves.

The rapid increase in pace from this point on will be palpable. Messages will be constantly communicated to us through technology (news airwaves), and can lend towards a frenetic mindset. This fast influx of predominately non-facts will reach a crescendo when Mars and Jupiter perfect their exact conjunction in Gemini on August 14th. Leo Season is set to bring it, and BIG! In the midst of the fast and furious overwhelm of media manipulation, Leo reminds us that we rule our own kingdoms with heart-centered integrity. The personal planets Venus, Mars, and Mercury are asking us to think before acting while not backing down from our values. Operating from a place of confidence and speaking our truth when necessary is equally part of the process. The process where we tap into our inner spark of creative Spirit, know what we bring to the table, check our egos, and trust our thoughts!
