Cancer Season 2024: Emotional Rescue

There has been so very much noise in the background, the foreground, and everywhere around us! Gemini season with Jupiter present is a whole new level! Time to soothe the nervous system and settle down. The headspace can swirl out of control when we bypass the emotions. This shifts us from Mutable Air into Cardinal Water, from thinking to sensing.

The sign of Cancer is ruled by the Moon which governs our emotional soul body. Now that Mercury and Venus have congruently arrived in the sign of Lady Luna, we have a better understanding of how our thoughts affect our emotional well-being. Time to tap into the lovely Yin energies with a greater awareness of what nurtures us. We can expect a softness and a heightened sentimentality in our communications. June 20th not only initiates Cancer season but also coincides with the summer solstice and marks the official start of the summer season in the northern hemisphere. A time to deepen our bonds with those we consider family, to create Sanctuary, and to curate coziness in our inner domain. In the sign of the Moon, our intuition is intensified as we instinctually seek a sense of security. Surrounding ourselves with people who have the capacity to hold space for our authentic emotional self expression is key. Having said that, an awareness of where we need to create protective boundaries to support our emotional wellness is strong in the sign of the Divine Mother. Otherwise, we may seek solace by retreating into our shell, and that is supported as well.
