Cancer New Moon: Emotional reset

During the lovely Cancer New Moon, the Sun and Moon congruently create a spiritually supportive water trine to Saturn retrograde in Pisces, the emotional reprieve and release. The moon is the ruler of this lunation. Lady Luna, the divine mother is at home.

Venus, also in Cancer, is square to Chiron during this lunation, indicating we are ready to reconcile what has wounded us personally in relationships, resources, and emotional support systems. A sense of awareness regarding a family past prepared to be released is represented. A longing for what was not, coupled with a release of what has wounded us, as we set our new intentions to create a sanctuary that nurtures and provides long-term emotional stability.

Mars, our passion pursuit, currently transiting the sign of Taurus, creates a sextile to Saturn retrograde in Pisces during this New Moon. This indicates that anything we physically move towards or initiate may provide long-term security and manifest abundant resources of self-sustainability. (contingent, of course, on our power to not compromise ourselves in the process.)
