A DECEMBER to remember-2023

December will be a month of planetary shifts, a festive Sagittarius Season, and a serious Saturnian influence looming in the background of the aspects.

Mercury moves into Capricorn on the 1st and immediately creates a supportive sextile to Saturn, the ruler of Capricorn, now Direct in Pisces. We examine the work required to bring our dreams to fruition.

Venus moves into the fixed water sign of Scorpio on the 4th for a deeper, yet visceral experience of the depths, where the psyche meets the physical. She will ingress into the sign of Sagittarius by December 29th.

The New Moon occurs on the 12th at 20° of Sagittarius. A fun-loving time to set exciting new, intentions, expand our horizons, and savor the experiences.

Mercury stations retrograde for its final phase of the year on December 12-13 at 8° of Capricorn. There are four mercury retrograde's in 2023, all in Earth signs, and this final one in Capricorn is occurring in the same place that the first retrograde of the year took place in January. The Winter Solstice collides with the onset of Capricorn season December 21st. The Sun ingresses into the stoic sign of Capricorn for the strategy phase. A completion time of contemplating what new seeds we will plant as the dark days of winter subside.
